2-Man Scramble
Each year, Mid Thumb Bowmen holds an annual 2-Man Scramble. The 2-Man teams are randomly assigned and with a shotgun start, they are set loose on a 30 target challenging course. This is a "best arrow" event so it keeps everyone in the game. There are a bunch of prizes given away at each of these events. This is a great way to get to know fellow archers in the area and have a great time in the woods.
The 2017 event was held on June 3rd. It was a great time thanks to all the hard work of Al Burk, the many sponsors for the event and all of the great shooters that came out. Every archer left with a door prize this year and there were some great payouts to the first, second and third place teams. Below are some pictures from the event. The weather was perfect and everyone had fun.
